If your only experience of broccoli is the frozen stuff that you steam in the bag, you probably don’t like broccoli. It is a bit white when it shouldn’t be, and definitely tougher than it needs to be or really should be.
However, baking broccoli until it is crispy makes it satisfying. If you close your eyes and pretend really hard, you may even imagine that it is potato chips. Kidding. Kind of. - 1 head of broccoli
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Cut the broccoli into bite-sized pieces, and oil the baking sheet.
- Place the broccoli on the sheet and put into the oven.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until brownish and crispy.
