It’s May, and you know what that means! Strawberries are in season! Chocolate-covered strawberries are really easy, delicious and impressive.
Here is the recipe!
Time: about 30 minutes
- about 40 strawberries
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk, I prefer semi-sweet because it complements the sweetness of the strawberry
- Melt the chocolate: Place the chocolate in a heat-proof bowl. I would suggest using a double-boiler because its harder to burn, and its easier to keep it warm and soft when dipping the strawberries. Just place a glass bowl over a pan of simmering water, making sure that the bottom of the bowl does not touch the water and put chocolate in the bowl. Stir occasionally until melted.
- Dip the strawberries: Hold the strawberries by their stem, and dip the strawberries in the melted chocolate. Place dipped strawberries on wax paper, and chill in the fridge until they are hard. Then Enjoy!
